Alternative Worship - TMUC Style:  OPEN SOURCE!

Open Source is the name of a new worship experience at Transcona Memorial!  The Youth Committee, together with Jeff and Carol, have planned five special services.  These services help us to explore different styles of worship.  The first services used video clips and directed conversations to engage culture and faith.  In February, the emphasis is on exploring spirituality through a service of ashes and the music of the ECCO Chamber Choir.  In March, the focus is joining together in a service of drumming (we are arranging to have djembe drums for everyone present!), and in April it will be a service of praise.

Funding from the Special Gifts Fund of Transcona Memorial is making this series possible.

The Youth Committee is very grateful for the support of the congregation in attending these services and in providing feedback.  Plans for the fall will be made after the completion of these services.  All ideas and thoughts are appreciated!
